Hello!
I am running my own forum and i need to send out a newsletter.
I have found the hack named combull. but thats not what i need.
I just need a simple Newsletterfunction.
The members can select in the options if they want to get the newsletter or not.
In admincp i need a editor where i can write the newsletter and automatically (without adding all usernames) send it out to everyone who has agreed to get it.
It would be nice if this Newsletter could also be stored as html on my webspace.
Anyone else wants such a hack/plugin?????

I'm leaning away from Commbull now myself as the releases for 3.0.x and 3.5.x have been buggy.
Would like to be able to send html newsletters, along the lines of the excellent PESfan newsletters.

I'm trying commbull now and having a bit of a problem with it. Mainly it seems to not send the emails in html. If you send in html the recipient just gets all the html code! I wrote the author about it and he said "their mail reader can't read html - send it in text". But my mail reader reads html just fine. Anyway, I'm waiting to hear back from him - hoping he has a fix.
This script does post the newsletter to any forum you specify on your board. It would be really good if it could do the html emails - which by the way - are based on the skin of your board - or any skin you choose. Which is really great! So it has a lot of potential - just this one major bug.
