I love being able to close posts by clicking the thread icon. I'd love to be able to change thread icons using an AJAX approach. On my site we allow off-topic discussion as long as people use a small OT post icon with their threads. I often have to go into threads to change the thread icon b/c they forgot to set one when they originally posted. Having some AJAX way of fixing them at forumdisplay would save me a ton of hassle.
