REQUEST: Uploaded Files Saved To Directory On Diff Server Rather Than DB

I would like to request a hack that lets you save files to a directory rather than the DB.

This is because I would like to save the files on a different server where I have much more space, rather than use up the server that has smaller space w/ the files...

I wont be able to use the attachment feature unless I can do something like this...
