how to make banner from adbrite / adsense become in the left /right our forum or also in the first of every first post??

can somebody help me how to modif the templates like that? T_T

Dude, there are like 50+ posts about having a bar at the left site; even searching for "Adsense after post" will result into a load of hits..

i find already about after first post.. but i can not find any about left side bar :( any suggest?
