Well heres another little addon everyone can prolly use.
This puts a navigation bar throughout the site, with dropdowns that you can use to put links in, if you were to network your site to other sites and communities.
Example: www.yaxay.com (http://www.yaxay.com/)
Follow the instructions and Enjoy.

This appears to be a direct rip of the inetinteractive network bar seen on webhostingtalk.com. The image, the javascript, the works.

the edit is from yaxay.com not webhostingtalk.com.
the code is free open source, very vewiable to the public eye. my original work is the work you see here.

yaxay.com is part of inetineractive. Did you get permission to redistribute elements of their network bar? Just because the code is easily viewable doesn't make it open source.

cant say i have and cant say i care to either. the code is open sourced. if you dont want to use it because the "idea" of the code isfrom another site, then dont. there is no permission needed to get this kind of code, since its straight up a publically released source code.
this template mod just points us in the right direction as to where to put it, how to use it, so on.
this bar can be pulled from a number of sites btw, yaxay was just the one i was on and got the idea for it. i only take credit for giving you guys the option to use it. its your choice. but there is no permission needed since its freely distributed data.
Hello,
GoTTi is correct. The "code" used to make that bar is available on script sites, free of charge and open to all.
Any examples of sites that give this code away for free? How do you know they didn't steal it from inetinteractive also? When a site says Copyright on the bottom of it, you can't just steal their HTML...
You should check first because if they were the first to write it, they have the copyright and the other sites can get in trouble too.
