Hello

I was wondering how ca add a quick time plug in so can show movie clips, because at the moment i upload th quick time file to my sever and then i just post the link to the file 9/10 times its shows a blank page and takes 5 minutes for the clip to loaf and in that time people just close the blank screen.

So what i want is a system where it loads a new window with the quick time player which shows that the movie is loading how can i do this.

(as you may or may not notice a blank screen shows up while its loading and right before the clip starts the quick time logo finally appearers what i want is for the page to load with the quick time player already there which show the viewer that the clip is downloading)

That link is broken so i can't test it. Sounds to me like your server is just too slow.

i know the sever is fast enough beacuse the 22meg file lods with in 2 min's on my pc i am just not sure why i get the white screen untill it downloads then it show the correct quicktime player.

Can anyone help me

come on can anyone help me

If anyone thinks its my slow sever there wrong just try to download the source file (if you have cable you get 300kb + on the download.

There has to be somthing i am doing wrong

hey i am having hte same problem here, is there a way to force it to stream into the player vs download the entire file first?

Old topic, but same issue...
Is there a way to show video's (mpg / avi / flv) without first downloading the whole file?

You would need to setup your server to stream video... Most servers aren't setup to stream. It has nothing to do with vBulletin, I'm sure it can be googled.
