I was just looking for the same info...

This could probably be accomplished quite easily. I'm going to take a look at it later today as I use the "close thread" option a lot and it's just so darn convient down in the quick reply box.

As always (why does nobody read the sticky Thread before psoting such requests?):
Contact the author and ask him if he is going to port it or does give permission for others to do so.

its very simple to do, I have PM'd the author to see if I can post the plugin or I send it to him and he can post it.
