Yes I know I'm a lil sentimental, but let's see Chen's old Member of the Day hack converted to 3.5 :D

how to determine members of the day? based on number of posts?

if possible by a average between posts and threads started that day and if they didnt start threads it would just go by posts.
so say ya have 2 members. Example okay it makes it easdy :P
ones name is fred the other is jim
Fred has 3 threads 50 posts
Jim has 0 threads but 100 posts
Fred would get member of the day

so it based on threads?
what if Fred has 3 threads 0 additional post, and Jim has 0 threads but 100 posts. Then who should be member of the day?

i believe jim should get it
i kinda messed it up
but 25 posts to 1 thread
so since jim has 100 thats = to 4 threads
so jim leads by 25 points :)
because people tend to reply more then start topics.

Anyone have any luck converting this over?
When I switch to 3.5, I would really like to continue to use a hack like this.
