BB Code Font Colors - Variable Per Style

I have a question that isn't really related to 3.5 specifically, but since I need to know if this can be done in 3.5 I've posted this in this forum.

I have recently switched from a very dark background, to a fairly light one. Is there a way to rectify the bbcode colors in posts that have already been posted, and deny certain colors from showing up with a particular style.

For example, if a style selected is white, and the user chooses a white font, can it be automatically converted to black? Or vice versa.

See, I plan on offering both a light colored version of the board, and a dark version, but if people post to the dark version, they generally use light colors, which viewed in the light colored theme don't show up too well.

I would think this is a common question, but I haven't been able to find an answer. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.

I solved this by disabling the [color] tag and pointing out to everyone that they can use the [highlight] tag.

The color the [highlight] tag uses is style specific.

Not exactly the answer you were looking for I imagine, but that was the solution I came up with.
