How to restrict attachment uploading in thread

Is there a way where I can set that only the subscribed users can attach files in thread?
Would greatly appreciated!

Well, as for only people who have subscribed to the thread I don't know, but I do know how to restrict it for registered users and such.

Go to your admin CP>Forums & Moderators>Forum Permissions> Then click on Registered Users or whatever group you want>Look for Attachment Permissions then set Can Upload Attachments to either Yes or No.

That is easy enough to do, thanks for making it more clear. This is what you do.

1) You make a new group Admin CP> Add new usergroup> fill in all the information you want Set the attachment permissions so that the group can upload attachments

2) Disable attachment uploading for normal registered users like I told you before

3) When someone pays you change them from Registered Users to whatever the name of your group that can upload attachments is. To do that: Admin CP> Users> Search for users> Type their name in the username box>click exact match> change primary usergroup to whatever the name of the group that can upload attachments is.

One question I hope someone could answer this. Is it possible to do the same with a gallery addon, like vbadvanced gallery? Only payee members can upload but registered can view. Thank you :rolleyes:

I have never used vbadvanced gallery before, but it should be able to, and if it can't I'm sure that someone here (or the coders of vbadvanced gallery) will be more then happy to make a little add on to it to make that work.
