I just recently opened up my forums (www.ready-up.com if any gamers are interested check em out ...sorry for the plug :nervous: ) and I had a user post this
can you make it so when you post, and you're the last person to post in a single thread, the forum you posted in doesnt have a new post symbol, just make it say new post when someone else posts, not when you do, cause it's hard to tell where someone else posted as opposed to where you were the last person to post
it seems as if every time someone makes a new post or new thread, the notification (blinking icon, notifying users that there is a new thread in that particular forum) blinks to notify them that there is a new post, even if they are the ones who made the new post.
I also noticed, when browsing the forums myself...that occasionally even after I have read a thread, the notification will continue to blink listing that there is a new thread in that forum...when it is the same thread I have just read...and it should not be notifying me any longer.
any help to fix this problem would be appreciated, thank you in advance
