How to Gender in Post Bit

Hi there, ive added a gender selection under users profile, via ACP > User Profile Fields > Add new user Profile Field

Just wondering how can i get this to be displayed under the postbit each time someone posts? also, if i could add an additional gender image would be a bounus too,

Use the variable $post[fieldx] in your postbit, replacing x with the number of the profile field. This will get the profile field to show in your postbit.

As for the image, I actually there is a template mod that does something like what you're asking.
