I would like to use a few of these .xml files but I don't have anything names Product or Plugin Manager in my admin panel. Nothing. I looked through every single thing in my admin panel. I am running vb 3.0.9, the latest version and dont have this.
How can I get a product or plugin manger on my vb so I can install some of these plugins/.xml thingys?

First you are on the wrong forum. Second, the products and plug-ins only work on 3.5. You will need to upgrade if you want to use them. ;)

Woops, I wasn't sure where to post it and I didn't think it would end with a post like that. Sorry. Can someone move it for me?

Thread moved. ;)
That's the latest STABLE version. 3.5 is still in Release Candidate stage. But definately worth doing the upgrade as it is getting closer to final. ;)

How do I go from 3.0.9 down to 3.5? What is different between the two versions besides that 3.5 has the plugin thing? So you are saying 3.5 is the way to go then? Also once the 3.5 comes out full would I need to re-upgrade to get that?

Yes, you would need to upgrade, but with the plug-in system now, file modifications are a thing of the past. No more editing files so upgrades are a snap. And 3.5 has so much more to offer now. If you have a lot of hacks on your 3.0.9 board, you would need to uninstall them for the upgrade. That would make it alot easier for you. But alot of the code hacks for 3.0 are now plug-ins for 3.5 and no more file edits. Did I mention there would be no more file edits? ;) Or very few anyway, depending on the hack.

Well I started to do it and reuploaded the files for it. Then when I pointed my browser at the install/upgrade.php it gave me an error about the config file:
Configuration: includes/config.php exists, but is not in the 3.5 format. Please convert your config file via the new config.php.new.
Ok I figured out that problem and I now have 3.5.0! Thanks guys.
