***Additional Instructions***

To change the 'Launch date' ticker on Forum Home, look in the FORUMHOME template, near the bottom. There is a start date field. :)

To change the greetings that appear in the navbar, have a look in your php_include_start template.

To have the Forum images show up for selected forums, go into your forumhome_forumbit_level*_post templates (both level1 and level2) and look for the condtitional that reads:

<if condition="in_array($forum['forumid'], array(2, 3)">

Change these ids to the ones you want to use.

Further on in the same template is this conditional:

<if condition="!in_array($bbuserinfo[usergroupid], array(1,3,4,8))">

The array contains those Usergroup ids that we do NOT want to see the Start New Thread button.

Enjoy!

*edit* fixed a bug in the navbar template that caused 'an error when attempting to log you out'. Thanks to breaume for reporting the bug.

Do you mean the graphical style - New Zealand Blue?

*edit* Sorry, of course you did.

Well, its basically 'Add a left column to your forums' as can be found on vb.org and vb.com in places...with a few images.

Specifically, its several hours of work and swearing at the PC. :)

Thanks for another great style!

I have one question, though.

In forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post:
Would it be possible to separate the forum description from the forum image? And the "search for new posts" and "start new thread" images?

So that the text doesn't appear beneath the icons?

Like on the image attached. (I tried to do that, but then the "search for new posts" and "start new thread" images got out of place.

You want to change that bit...

*sighs*

That bit was the hardest for me to get compliant and still look good. It's a pretty delicate area.

At a guess .. add a after the code for the image?

I love this style... but for some reason whenever I try to use the Quick Reply, I get an error saying that the message I entered was too short. The limit I have set on my board is 5 characters minimum, I entered 20+. It only happens on this style, my other style's Quick Reply works fine. Any ideas? I really want to use this style... but only if the Quick Reply will work.

Edit: Just realized this is for RC3, that's why it wasn't working. Upgraded and everything is now working great.

I noticed this and I think it is to do with the table layout in the footer, if you don't have the style dropdown enabled and the language drop down at the bottom you get some missing columns in the row above, I just added a colspan to mine.

Can I ask you where you edit this ?
I'd like to add it to the other stlye,
It's awsome, at least i think so.
I looked in navbad and header but didn't see it,, I think its in navbar but can u see me where i can get the code for the welcome block on the index :)
that says this

Good Morning, Loco.
Happy Humpday!
You last visited: Today at 12:23 AM
Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 8.

thank you
and I noticed it doesn't seem to say anything other then the normal on the portal

vBa 2.0

thx agian for the style :)

its the code that say good morning/evening and happy hump day/t.g.i.f and the other days of the week..

Dude. Read the first post. I quite clearly state, if you are using vbadvanced, add the $nzb_greeting and $nzb_greeting2 variables to the Globalised variables (or whatever it is called) box in the vBACMPS Admin CP. :)

They are $nzb_greeting and $nzb_greeting2. They are in the navbar template above the bit for displaying PM info. The text itself is generated by the plugin, in global_start.

The navbit message won't show on my portal either... I have placed the two variables in the "Portal Output Global Variables" box in my CMPS Panel. It doesn't show in the navbar after I click "New Posts", either.

Edit: I figured out why the message wasn't showing on my portal. The variables in your first post are missing an underscore. They should be "nzb_greeting" not "nzbgreeting". I do still however have the problem with the message not showing up after clicking New Posts.

You should be good to go with any other style... just put $nzb_greeting ,$bbuserinfo[username](god, I wish I knew how to get that to work inside the plugin...) wherever you want it to display.

Edit the forumid of the top of forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost to that of your topmost forum.
Can you explain this?, I'm a newbie and don't know what "forumid" is nor the "forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost" nor the "topmust forum".

You can remove them in 2 ways, an easy way abd a hard way.

The hard way: open template: postbit. Look for <if condition="$jointime (or something similar..it's the <if> that surrounds the bit with 'star.gif' paths) and remove the whole conditional.

The easy way: Disable the plugin called nzb_postbit_stars (or whatever it is I called it). :)

Also how do you get rid of the WHITE spaces between the different forums? on the main forum page?

The answer to the first question: "forumhome_forumbit_level*_post" means 'Both forumhome_forumbit_level2_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post.'

Look in those templates for an array that has 2,3 in it. Change those numbers to 999,998. Assuming you don't have any forumids that are 999 or 998, the images will not show.

The answer to the second question is: Look on vbulletin.com - Quick Tips and Customisations - Add a space between each category. I won't be posting instructions for that, as it's a base feature of this style.

But I have one problem:

To change the greetings that appear in the navbar, have a look in your php_include_start template.

So where i can find it to change the language into German?

But, since my members don't like full-screen, I made it to 750px, but in the forum, only the header is 750px, the rest is still filling the rest of the screen, hence looking very weird (check the screenshot).
