Show latest X threads on homepage??

Hi does anyone know how to show the lastest X threadson another web page, i have looked around and seen the RSS feeds, and the ones i have looked at work fine, but only seem to show the "thread topic header"
I would like to show the "topic header", "date posted" , and "description"
is this possible or am i missing something really obvious.
any help would be great, thanks
