I demand a wikipedia style linking hack!
It would work thusly:
On creation of thread OR post, a user would have the option of giving it another filed below the title.
This may be invisible.
So far, so good.
Next, when anyone invoked the correct tag, e.g. tag it would go to that post!
More examples:
Newpost:
Why I rule and you know it
( extra field = Borgs rules or maybe borgs_rules )
You know it, don't even argue
Now in another post, one might might invoke a link to that thread like so:
+++++ please, you know I rule
The tag would invoke the thread ID
=================
Applications for vb.org
{ links to the vbadvanced thread }
{ links to how to get licenced }
[tag=vbarcade]
[tag=me_code]
[tag=faq]
A guy can dream :)
