I would like to create a module for the CMPS index page (using vbadvanced) that will gather the last X announcements from a particular forum and display it.
Ideally, the module will check to see what usergroup the user is a member of and then fetch recent annoucements from a particular forum. and then display this information in "announcements" module. The problem is that I have never created a module before. Any help?
