Could really use this for my new website. I only want a couple of usergroups to be able to use images in their signatures.

There was a feature like this in Signature Guardian (a sig control system) many of us would like to see it ported to 3.5, the author seems to have stopped supporting it..but if someone could convert it, we'd appreciate it..

This really seems like something that would be simple to implement. Plus I could see this being very useful for many people.

I can come up with something - Give me a while and I'll release a BETA file for you to test and then release if it goes well :)

You could use my Signature Llimits Hack and set max. allowed images to -1 (as 0=unlimited).
Then they will not be able to use [img]

(Though I think the phrasing needs some adjustments for this as it looks a bit strange then :D)
