I've been using this hack for awhile now, its been really great thusfar. I ran the upgrade to 3.5.5 and since then, all the posts have been flagged as a proxy.
The Real IP Address is: *********
**************.comcast.net
The Proxy Server IP Address is: PROXYIP
I'm currently holding off upgrading to vB 3.6 immediately, but I'd like to have this mod running...otherwise I'll just have to do the upgrade to 3.6 sooner.

You haven't re-edited class_core.php

If the class_core.php is the same in the edited areas wouldn't this hack work on 3.6.0?

I've done the file edits 4 times now - each time on a fresh copy of class_core and every time I upload - I get the error telling me I have an issue on line 279 - which is my DB connect line - I know this does nothing with that line, but I am at a damn loss as to what is going on.
The exact error has been reported twice in this thread - both times they were told " you have done the file edits wrong" - Maybe I am going blind in my old age - but I swear I've done the edits right each time.
Paul - can you give me some help here or on AIM?
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting '&' or T_VARIABLE or T_CONST in /forum/includes/class_core.php on line 267

The exact error has been reported twice in this thread - both times they were told " you have done the file edits wrong" - Maybe I am going blind in my old age - but I swear I've done the edits right each time. The mistake that people generally make is in step 1 - In class_core.php, there is another closing curly bracket on the next line after the function that step 1 replaces - people accidentally delete that bracket.
