Hey all, I really like vbulletin.orgs style but I know its not for sale or anything. I was wondering, if I bought THIS STYLE (http://www.extremepixels.com/forum/index.php?styleid=41) and took some of the icons from vbulletin.org to use on it, would I be breaking an rules?

I would change those icons that indicate wether there are new posts or not. also the ones that you click to contract or expand a category.

So is that legal?

what if i put an aknowledgement in the footer either to vbulletin.org or the creator him/herself. would that help?? i really love the icons used here.

Hi killa ... crediting the creator or linking back to their site is sufficient only if they give their explicit permission to you. It's not an option for you "instead of" getting permission to use someone else's graphics. So that would still be wrong.
