View Full Version : 3.5RC2 or wait till 3.5.1?

Two questions , I have a stable 3.0.8 enviroment and want to install several mod's but should I wait until the gold release? and is RC2 very buggy?

As of this post, vBulletin has recorded 6 bugs, of these only 1 is major. When 3.5.0 goes Gold, it'll be called 3.5.0, by the way... not 3.5.1. You might as well upgrade... just make sure that the mods you're planning on doing are for 3.5.0.

I would wait just a wee bit. They are about to come out with RC3.

Mainly Bugfixes ... and a bunch of new Hooks :)

I plan on upgrading my largest forum in a day or two. I've tried to hold back untill RC3 is released but I might just go head with RC2. With my luck seconds after upgrading RC3 will be released :P.

I would have installed the RC2 by now if vbarcade for vb3.5 was out now. I don't want to listen to users whining about it haha

v3 Arcade works on RC2, I'm fairly certain.

Another vote to wait for RC3. :) Bugfixes are important.

Nope. The existing v3Arcade package is for 3.0x only. John is still working on the port and won't release until 3.5 goes gold.

I am VERY happy with 3.5rc2, and we have not seen a single problem yet.
