This hack has been removed from the public forums due to the hack's zip file containing copyrighted material.

These two files:

/admincp/admin_functions.php
/admincp/admin_skin.php

Are from the ipb 1.3 zip file, which was released under the license agreement found here: http://www.invisionboard.com/?license

You may not distribute individual copies of files, libraries, or other programming material in the Software package

We became aware of this issue back in June and after discussion with the author of the hack and IPS the files were removed until the author coded his own replacements or was given permission from IPS to distribute these files. At the time it was decided to leave the support threads open due to the large number of installs this hack received before a staff member noticed the mentioned files.

However, due to multiple links to the file after it was removed we have decided to remove the threads as well. We simply can't have links to such things begin posted, even if the author of the post is not aware that what he is linking to is illegal. Simply put we felt removing the thread was the better option, otherwise we would have to 'baby sit' the thread and remove the links as they came in.

We hope to resolve the issues with this modification and will restore the threads once the author works out the problems mentioned above.

Only right though ... I`m sure no-one here would be happy with someone distrubuting one of there hacks ... hack or forum itself, it's owned code at the end of the day.. It`s a shame to see it go I know, but its for the best

v3arcade games work with the IPB pro arcade hack without any problems as far as I can tell. Most of the game packs you will find are v3arcade games, or that's what was true for me anyhow.

Hi,

It is sad that the thread has been deleted, but the fact is there wasn't a hack there, just a link to a third party website, perhaps in time the hack will fixed without copyrighted code.

The threads have just been moved out of the public eye. If the author fixes said issues we will move the threads back into the public forums.

We like to keep records, just because something is deleted doesn't mean it can't be restored ;). We are always willing to take the time to work through things, hopfully this modification will see the light of day again. :)

As Chris, the main developer of the ibProArcade, is absent for about 5 weeks now and even his co-developer does not know about where he is, I doubt that there will be a fix soon or even done.
Development is on focus for the v3.0 of this arcade-hack ...

So bad :(

Hmmmm, look at the mentioned tar.php:

| LICENCE OF USE (THIS MODULE ONLY)
|
| This module has been created and released under the GNU licence and may be
| freely used and distributed. If you find some space to credit us in your source
| code, it'll be appreciated.
|
| Report all bugs / improvements to matt@ibforums.com
|
| NOTE: This does not affect the current licence for the rest of the Invision
| board code. I just wanted to share this module as there is a lack of other
| decent tar proggies for PHP.

Well now John, you have no competition. :)

But in all seriousness, we need something like this for 3.5, whether it's a beta or not, something is needed.

Give me some time, just today I finished a complete, bugfixed, extended version (including most of the AddOn-Mods available) of ibProArcade which works both within vBulletin 3.0.x and 3.5.0 :)

Just 10 minutes before release I noticed this thread.

I now start rewriting the AdminCP-integration so that everything should be fine.

Just wait for the release - this arcade will hopefully satisfy all of you ...

No, unfortunately this hack had illegal IPB files, which is against vB's and IPB's copyrights if I am not mistaken..so unless someone re-makes it without those files, than no it will not be released.

Sorry guys, I was told that IPB had fully depricated their 1.3 software as they had already moved onto v2.0 and now v2.1 of their forum software. Thus the reason I used their admin pieces. Once v3 of the arcade is done I'll see how difficult it'll be to port over to vB again and this time I'll just use the proper vB admin cp files. Anyways, I've given MrZeropage permission to modify the code to work with vB so hopefully we can keep this hack going for you guys! Again sorry for the misunderstanding. :)

btw, if you need some help on building a complete performing tool based on the old version, why not make a request ?!... surely some guys here will offer their support and code talents!
