Change The User Info Style

This modification will help you in changing the vertical postbit (the one that goes along the top) from its normal style, into one that looks like the attached image.


IF you get an error like the one shown in 'posserror.gif' attached - the fix is extremely easy.

Reupload the avatar of the user. All thats happened is the width and height dimensions havent been defined.

The colours in the screenshots are defined from alt1 and alt2, as default, and the width of the avatars column is set as the avatar's width, and height for height.

Vertical is up, you are right. But the default postbit for vB (not the legacy) is known as horizontal, because it spans across the screen, rather a standing column on the left hand side.

Will this modification work with 3.0.9? I want to use this, but I haven't upgraded my board to 3.5.0 yet.

Yes it should work, it just appears to be a template modification. If you know what you are doing then its easy enough!
