once and for all I'd LOVE to know how to get the userinfo sectoin/postbit thingy on the LEFT of posts instead of across the top as vbulletin has it by default.
(ie: like in this FORUM)

Its in admin options , click show all , then choose legacy

sorry for my ignorance... could you be more specific? I don't what area you are referring to.
admin options? as in AdminCP?
in the Vbulletin Options of the admincp?
or usercp.
showall? -- where is that?

Scroll to the bottom of your forum page, you'll see a link in the footer to your admincp. Click on that and enter in your password.
From there you'll see a menu on the left hand side.
Find the header "Vbulletin Options" and click the arrow next to it to expand it.
Then click on "Vbulletin Options".
Now in the right hand body of the page you'll see a list of sections.
Click on "Style & Language Settings", then click on the button for "Edit Settings"
Scroll to the bottom and you'll see:
"Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template"
Select "Yes" and click "Save"
Done!
