5 latest posts on sidebar?

Hi,

I would like to have the 5 latest posts not on forum_home but on the sidebar, so that people can see anywhere in the forum if there has been a new response to a thread they are interested in.

Is there some way to do that?

i know this would probably have to be done in the navbar....
