I am trying out the vbulletin demo & i was wondering y cant i download hacks / styles etc for the demo?

It's a matter of national security.
In the demo you can only test the standard features, not custom ones made by random people. Being able to run your own PHP code would be a security threat for the demo servers.

yea so far vBulletin is pretty cool but i dont like the yearly licenses if i were to buy one which i might i would get a 10 year one so i can enjoy it the most

once you buy the owned license, it's yours. You only have to pay a yearly fee to maintain access to updates if you so choose.

An owned liscence (which is cheapest in the long run) - is $160. This automatically includes 1 year of updates via the members area.
After that, at your discrestion, you can renew your members area access to download the latest versions for $30 as suggested above.

well i guess when i gather $160 ill buy it, but until then ill stick with Invision Power Boards
