Tried upgrading to vB 3.5 RC2

We have detected that you have already tried to run the upgrade script. You will not be able to proceed unless you revert to a vB 2.2.x/2.3.x database.

I was told that I get this error because I installed a hack and that it modified the vb database.

Since they do not support hacks I have no idea where to go from here.

What is the name of the upgradescript you are trying to run?
What hacks have you installed?

what i did was first upgrade to 3.0.8 and then to 3.5 rc2 it worked fine then.

Yeah as lairnoc stated above, that's probably your best solution L-Mane. Use ImpEx to "clean" your database to 3.0.8 and then upgrade to 3.5.0 from that. This way you won't have any hacks interfering with the upgrade process.

sounds like some serious problem... i would not know how to solve this one. I don't know if it work but make a clean install of 3.5 and use your old database maybe?
