The buttons still need to be tweaked, I traded in the vBulletin buttons for some open code phpbb ones, I like them better.

And a few images, such as the collapsible buttons, have to be edited out in the templates.

Otherwise, it's suppose to make you feel like your in / experiencing one of these: http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/volkswagen_news/article_1025.shtml

Anything I'm missing or that is incomplete, etc. Thanks! - Tyler

P.S. - Please let me know, as this site must open Sept. 1st!

Thanks! Well truely the only "finished" button is the post reply one found on this page: http://www.mk5gti.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3. Otherwise they all still need to be edited etc.

Firepower_426,

How did you manipulate your subtopic listing view so that teh "add thread" button was not visible?

I have been trying to get that topic / subtopic setup for days, and so far its not happened?

Trying for:

TOPIC

--- SUBTOPIC

---SUBTOPIC

(When viewed. you cant add any more threads in the subtopic listings, and are forced to post in one of the two available sub-topics. Mine currently, you could add a thread, and make it look like:

TOPIC

--- SUBTOPIC

---SUBTOPIC

---Added Thread By Member

Appreciate your help.

It'a a simple style. The colours are okay, but you need to edit it more table-wise through the templates and that now.

Also the buttons don't really match with the style.

And you might want to tone down the brightness of the colours in the tables. Too bright colour on black = very very bad.

I made the second subforum "act as a forum: no", as well. That makes two forums that aren't really forums, and then I added one more subforum and made that the child of that 2nd non forum subforum.

Like this:

Multimedia (not a forum)
--Articles (not a forum, child forum of above)
----B&B Tuning (can post, child forum of above)

Hopefully this helps.

Again, the colored buttons aren't going to be there, so I can't comment on their colors yet. They will be redone.
