Is there any easier way to remove installed hacks from my User CP as I have now moved all my forums to 3.5.0
It's just that I have about 50+ for vb 3.0+ that I do not need and it will take a while to remove them all.

That would be mean. :(

Wait until the IMPEX comes out for vB 3.5
Then install a brand new 3.5 board and import everything.

I removed all 3.0.x hacks from my "installed" list... :)
*shrugs* I no longer have a need for 3.0.x hacks... I do have a need for 3.5 hacks :) lol

I believe this discussion has arose before (actually, between Boofo and myself).
Some coders feel that installation counts are a way of saying thanks for the hard work and effort that has gone in to the modification. Others feel that the installation list should be exactly that; used to track the modifications that you currently have installed.
Personally, I side with the later opinion and do the same myself.. :speechless:

95% of my Installed hacks are just that, but there's the odd one I have installed to show support and to keep in touch with development.
The easiest way to remove the hacks would be to open 10 at a time in tabs in Firefox, then click the Uninstall and hit Crtl+Tab then click again, etc.

Yeah i've removed them from the list.
@ jugo: Think you mis understood.
@ Oblivion Knight: I agree with you, but having them as installed over the years I think shows thanks. But, as time goes on and people move to new versions, why have the list cluttered and e-mail coming through re. updates on hacks you no longer need.
Coders please do not take this as any sign of disrespect, I as well as many others appreciate all the time and efforts that go into all of them hence the reasons why I put what I did in my Favorite Hack section in my profile (It has been like that for some time). Perhaps vbulletin.org should have a seperate 'thanks' section?

AAAAHHHH...Now I know what you mean.
Well when you click install it's not just to say that you have it installed, it is also a good way to show that you like the MOD, use it and support the coder who wrote it.
This was explained to me and I chose to leave them on my usercp....even the vB2 ones.
Support your local hacker and leave them installed in the UserCP.

Honestly I think with the introduction of the new hack database for 3.5, we should be able to search our installations by version - That way you needn't remove old installs :)

LOL Livewire... Sorry :) I just hate seeing the 3.0.x hacks mixed in 3.5 hacks... I do not have the patience to be going through them to see which one is 3.5 then read up on them...
The hack database should have been introduced long time ago... *shrugs* That's just my opinion :) lol ...

Hellsatan has an awesome idea..
That would fix it for everyone.
Then people wouldn't click uninstall for old versions
And people can use it to track their hacks on their current version

When they upgrade to 3.5 this will no longer be a issue :)

Then at that time, I will mildly consider re-adding all the 3.0.x hacks to my list :p
To show my support for a board version that I no longer use (or rather, will not be using after 3.5 goes gold)...
