Disabled Hotlinking- Now SSL is wacky!

I disabled hotlinking, however now my https is not happy and it is affecting calls from the SSL. Any idea why the hotlinking and SSL would be linked?

Maybe the hotlinking doesn't refer to just the URL like www.blah.com but as http://www.blah.com. And SSL is https://. That is just a guess, I would send an email to your host for a more accurate answer.

I checked with a few resources and I guess it is just the nature of the beast with SSL. Very strange. If you want SSL you have to allow hotlinking. Seems like a bug to me.
