First I'd like to apologize for the last release. I thought it was ready but it wasn't working right like it should. This version is fixed and everything should be working right, I've gone through it completely.

This version is extremely easy to install, if you installed the last beta, the installer will do everything else for you!

This is mainly fixes, but also includes and about and a plugins page (for right now really just file edits). You can make your own modifications and put your custom made games on that page. Maybe in the future we'll have a simple plugin system you can use. If you make a plugin, I'd be happy to feature it on this page.

This installer can uninstall both beta 1 and beta 2, making it extremely simple to upgrade.

The phrases should be fixed in this version! (Waiting for it to be confirmed, but everything worked fine on an install on the test board!)

Go to your admincp, go to Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager and edit your administrator privileges. Go down to lottery and set everything to yes.

If the permissions are right, the hack will work. It has been tested.

If you need further help I can help you if you give me an administrator name and password, and send it by PM on this board. I can set it up for you and you can delete that administrators account.

I first installed casino V1........I ran the install and uninstalled beta one.....then proceeded with the install........It went through every thing and told me the install was complete and to delete this file.

I think I have some issues with my database.........ever since I upgraded to vb 3.0.8 a few things went screwy.

I think the ability to use reputation would be a very nice addition to this hack. I know of a lot of sites that stay away from using uCash and all those other points system since you don't have to hack vBulletin to use it (like me).

Hopefully you'll consider adding it...

Also- some typos: "Selled tickets" should be "sold tickets." THe third line after "Selled Tickets" is missing something all I see is a colon.

I appreciate all of your hard work, but I don't really see much of a thrill or amusement in the lottery process. there is no announcement of "you lose" or any indication what the results of the lottery were. DId I lose? Did I win? Do I have to wait for the drawing? See what I mean? A graphic of a winning or losing lottery ticket would be great.

Also the "Higher/Lower" game is confusing:

Since you have the navigation the "casino index" is not very useful, and could be used to explain a bit more about how to play the games, and how to get "money" to play them, etc..

Also- the plugins link should actually be called something else, since the end user does not care if a game is a plug-in or not. Maybe it should say "More games"? and be disabled of no plugins exist?

Basically the casino sounds like it will be fun, but the "play" experience is very lackluster, IMO. Again- I appreciate the hard work you have put in to this, but I think it needs a bit more to round it out.

I'm sorry. I took it the wrong way. Anyways, I consider is a release candidate, but posted it as a BETA because I wasn't positive it would work for everyone, so I figured I could post it and if anyone had problems I could fix it and eventually it would become a release candiate, but still have the same name, if that makes sense. It has proved itself enough to be a release candidate. In future versions most likely only spelling errors and maybe a few features will be added (like some that you suggested).

Every time you buy a ticket, a randomn number is generated and sent to your inbox. Then, at a certain time (which the ADMIN can specify), the winning number gets posted somewhere by a bot in large bold letters and the winner(s) get confirmation in their inboxes.

I should add, it's when it goes to apply the default settings...

This seems to cause a problem for people who don't know how to bypass that error. I simply took out the call for the default settings, which allowed me to get to the phrase part..

The only problem I see so far besides that installation error, is the Slots aren't keeping the stats.. I'll test more, and read more.. :D Just playing around right now with it..

I have a few more idea's for this too im working on having flash show the slots stats
and im trying to sort out the lottery winners to show in flash too.
If i have more time i will try and make the slots work with a flash file so that the page would not have to refreash all the time.

I manually entered in the "default settings". However the Slot Stats are still all zreos.

Here's also the funny part is, the settings didn't matter. I needed to create a row. I changed the "default" field. So with me, I had to create a row (a record entry) then it worked..

This is pretty decent, just needs more tweaking that's all! Good job guys!!

You need to add your own link in the template navbar...

Assuming you are running UShop and not Pets, you can give yerself money by clicking your bengal bucks displayed in your profile If you have admin donate on or just changing it on your user properties in admin cp..

This pays out just like the real roulette or as close as you can get.
So it does not payout to much but the right amount for your bet.

Its the Slots... Obscene payouts for the amount of times you win.. There are billions floating in my system now.. I have to revamp people's money probably..

Also.. Roulette is paying 3-1 on a 2-1 bet (red/black; even/odd)

the way that I fixed them may be what it causing all of my issues, it's simply going into the install file and dropping ".TABLE_PREFIX." (or however it is displayed) the inserts should look like the ones below

it works as far as I can see however, the Slots Machine is not working same issue as before. I thought adding on the addon would help however, it did not. I am thinking of disabling this because the points status on my board I want to stay low as if it were real money.. once a user becomes "point rich" they get in the casino and bet high.. and win high.... I guess it all depends on how you run it... I may just use the lottery and a couple of other games.. minus roulette and the slot machine....

oh yeah, for some reason you have to edit (but change nothing) any phrase so that the phrases show correctly... that's it. I hope it works

Hi there

The way i got all the phrases to work was to take them out and put my own in.
You would have to edit all the templates and main lottery.php file.
Also on the install file one of the templetes is named wrong so you will have to update that. The template that is wrong is missing a y at the end.

Thanks for this its very nice you think this but it does not bother me as i like to help anyone out if i can. Im hoping the autor is going to send me the new version so i can add some things in for the new things he is puttin in.
I think a bit of flash is a good idea thats why i stated doing it.
Im also making a flash casino index page instead of having that gif image there.
With having it made in flash it can be made for each web site and have your own ads on it. If anyone whats this then i will sort it out, but if anyone whats the main casino flash page made for them i can do this for a small fee.
The fee to make a flash page for your site would only be ?5 it will be made to what you want, and have your sites name in it.
Im trying to work out a way to have all the stats pages in flash but this is not easy but i will get there.

Any ways thanks for the nice words and that i just like to help and make things better for everyone.

The reason you have to do this is you may not want all you members to play all the casino games. Also you will have to stop unregisterd users from playing the casino and using your bandwidth.

The reason he has not done this is not all sites want to put a link in the navbar. Also if you have payed for a theme for your VB site you cannot use the navbar to put the link in as these themes use the header template for the navbar links.

The roulette numbers are DEFINITELY wrong.

Odd/Even

Black/Red

1-18 19-36

ALL of these are paying out 3-1 when they should be paying out 2-1.
If you start out with 50 points, and you bet 50 on black and win, you will WIN 100 points to bring your total to 150. But your initial bet of 50 is not taken away.

What SHOULD happen is that you bet 50 on black, black hits, and the casino TAKES YOUR 50 but gives you double your bet, so that your new total becomes 100. NOT 150.

This seems like it's a simple miscalculation in the php.

So yeah, the payout for those 3 things needs to be programmed to 2-1 instead of 3-1.



Okay, I've fixed the code.

Open up lottery.php
find the 2 LINES lines that say:
$win+=$redblackstake*2;
Replace with:
$win+=$redblackstake;

Now find the 2 LINES lines that say:

$win+=$oddevenstake*2;
Replace with:
$win+=$oddevenstake;

Finally, find the 2 LINES that say:
$win+=$eighteensstake*2;
Replace with:
$win+=$eighteensstake;

Save lottery.php and upload it to your server.
3-1 Payout is now 2-1 payout like it should be!


I also highly suggest you change the 3 instances of:

$win+=$twelvesstake*3;

to

$win+=$twelvesstake*2;

to make it so that the payout for twelves is correct too.

After making these changes I've tested all the numbers and my roullette game is now functioning 100% properly.
When it says what you win and lose its a little deceiving, because what you actually net at the end of the game is not the amount you "win". When you put bets on multiple outcomes this is when it starts to look goofy, but it's definitely adjusting your ucash properly.

You need a kind of a money system....
Ucash/Ushop has a money system
Vbookie en vbpetz also.
If you only want the casino, you can always just make a row in you user database and give every user a certein amount of money/credits/points/....

To make the vbcasino work with out a money system run this in your phpmyadmin

Remember to change the vb3_ to your prefix

ALTER TABLE `vb3_user` ADD `uttpoints` VARCHAR( 20 ) DEFAULT '500' NOT NULL


Then to give everyone 500 money/credits/points/....
Run this in your phpmyadmin

Again change the vb3_ to your prefix

UPDATE `vb3_user` SET `uttpoints` = '500' ;

From the looks of what you are trying to insert is wrong its to long.
This is trying to insert 12 fields and there is only 6 for the lottery_setting table.

In the casino_install.php file look for this on link 430 i think.

There is no way this should overright your shoutbox hack in any way as the casino uses diffarent sql tables and the code edits have nothing to do with the shoutbox.
I will test this out can you tell me what shoutbox hack you are using.

Whats the point in this as the ucash/ushop has this.
If the casino had its own cash system then yes it would be a good idea.
This could be done yourself all you need to do is insert a new table into the users then cakk the top 10 so you could show the to 10 richest.

You would have to make your own cash tabel up to be able to do this.

Ok I took the new install file you provided and rar for casino and did all the changes etc... Same thing when I install, step three gives me the same error.

So then I did what this post here instructed.. although what you wanted me to change didn't quite look like what you said, and it was line 758.

It looked like this:

Easy, it's the cron file that handles the pay-outs. So just change the date of the scheduled task in your sheduled task manager.

For more information about the scheduled task manager you'll better take a look at the vb ulletin manual.

Without the owner saying i can release the updated files to run on vb 3.5.X 3.6.X.
I regret i cannot release the updated files for download.

I will keep on trying to contact the owner of the script and let you know.
