Just wanted to grab some feedback if possible on the skin I made for my forum at http://www.shakahr.com
Its a new Metallic theme I was toying around with for abit that I decided to make it my default.
Ideas/Comments welcomed :)

I like it a lot but for some reason the portal page is misaligned on FF.

It doesnt really matter cause the skin is really nice and is default material. ;)

The layout is awesome, but I have always hated that chrome theming. Maybe add some color varients of that style?

Perhaps re-decorating the theme title with a tad more color would do it. Would hate to add color to the main part of it because then it wouldn't be the genuine metallic color feel. If I dup the theme as a child and add more color to it, it probably wouldn't be "chrome-ie", would just look like someone colored a metallic graphic for kicks. Was thinking to keep it color-simple, because too much color gets distracting, simplicity I believe is the key ~ with a little flavor.

Oooh, that looks very nice. :) Only thing I don't like is that blue background - it looks out of place on the metallic. Maybe a more 'metallic' blue would look better.

Thanks for the comments :)
I have decided to archive that skin for now until I can tweak it in the future so it would be compatible for Mozilla/FireFox users. I wonder if I can install those browsers without screwing up IE?
Anyway, I set it back to the "Naturalistic" skin as default since it is an easy skin to deal with.
Thanks again much appreciated!

PORTAL:
First of all, you are multiplying. You have (2) login boxes. Quick links are not nearly as quick at clicking the navbar and I don't think anyone is spending enough time on the portal to be colapsing threads.
Also, it's not wise to use the Who's Online? block when you don't have a large active memberbase. And forum upgrades is not news worthy... nobody cares. Minimize
PORTAL
I like the logo, (8/10) but I don't think anyone would mind if you took a 1/2 inch off the top and gave it a border that corresponds with the table.
The navlinks are weak. For this theme, I would expect them to be graphics or buttons.
Why do you have triple img category headers on your forums, but not on your portal? Anyways, the footers do not match.... Or is it the headers that do not match? Yes, ditch the headers. And what is with the power-switch looking forum icons, I thought this was supposed to be a "medival" forum or whatever.
Your "go to last post" icons do not match or contrast correctly (ever consider a little arrow with a feather?) Matter of fact, a lot of your graphics are not doing you justice. I will admit, individualy, it's nice macro work, but they're not consistant.
Everything else is fine. Validates in Firefox/Explorer/Opera and Safari.
5/10

There was an issue with the portal front left-side not aligning correctly in Mozilla. Fixed though. Thanks for the comments ~ I was thinking to dis-allow the Who's online but forgot about it :) Though somehow it still shows on the bottom of the actual forum on "what's going on", but if I turn that off globally threw the global settings, I wonder if Admin's won't see it either... hmmm.
One thing though, why would the top/bottom of the forum category parts not match? /ponder. They are the same graphics from the Navbar at top, and the bottom portion is cut in half from the top, then flipped. Unless you mean because it is rounded on the sides like that?
