Thread preview/lengthen time?

I have been asked by members is there any way of lengthening the time that the box is shown, because it disappears too fast.

I know its browser specific, but is there any way of telling browsers to let the preview box stay shown a bit longer?

I did a search of all the forums and found ways of changing what appears in the thread preview box - like including Authors etc. but I didnt find any answers to my specific questions.

no, it's not possible ... it's a tooltip and the 'time' is based on your browser

the tooltip.t_temp variable sets the delay length in milliseconds; now I just need to find out where the tooltip is called from...
