This would be a good idea for those of us who want to restrict a particular forum to a certain age group (ie limiting younger people from being able to post/read). It can probably be linked to birthday and calculate the age restrictions off that.
The reason i am requesting this is because i have a forum that i would like to restrict for mature, intelligent discussions and i dont want any babies coming in and stupifying the place up.

Bleh... Who in their right mind puts in their right age? Trust me that no kid does. ;)

@MyIS Jordan,
I don't know if you just changed mail address, but you are currently showing up as unlicensed.

Yea, i did. I got assigned a new mail address. I updated my priority support email on vb.com and (just now) clicked activation link in email.

thanks Kirby i have your restrict registration hack on my test 3.5 board.. but as of right now i need something for my 3.0.7 board.. i basically need it for one specific forum which is simply titled NSFW ... i already have the birthday profile field hidden so the users cant edit it after registration and i require registration (mind you again this is for 3.0.7) so now i just need to know how i can restrict one specific forum to only be able to be seen by anyone who is 18 or older.. i know that this cant be that simple as (or maybe im wrong) anything that is in that forum i dont want the search to return any results unless the check is performed and you are the required age. etc..

You do know that this does not keep them from editing their birthday, right?
