This hack is inspired from a Beta Hack made by eoc_Jason (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?userid=3454): Display Ban Remaining time on Error Page (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=62313).

I've modify his hack to show a warning to banned users on my forum home page rather than have to show an error page... as my "Banned" members can still see my forum.

Original author have been contacted about this and he's ok with it.


Description:

This simple hack will add a message at the top of your Forum Home page, informing a user he have been "ban" by a moderator, and for how much time he will be (permanent or temporary)! (See the screenshot)

This hack will only add one query on your Forum Home IF user is member of "Banned" group.
