Little Help

Sup guys and gals, I will hopefully get next months BOTM on vbulletin.com ( cause I got all together 3 nomination so far in the nomination thread ) so I am looking for some opinions, I know I still have plenty of things wrong with my site but I am not sure what they all are, I think of some then my mind goes blan :-D. So please help me out with anything you can tell me, any hacks I should install, any modifications that would be cool, anything at all you tell me, and I will try to do it. I just want some advise, thanks in advance :).

Why would you get botm for a premade skin? What have you done to customize anything.

1) default style is too dark
2) need more contrast between text color and background
3) increase font size
4) get rid of the marquee
5) replace logo ... the current one is unreadable
6) difficulty with reading text on header buttons
7) dual logins (portal left column and navbar)
8) dual navigation (portal left column and header)

Curious ... Why would you want to display your 'banned' (scammers) members?
What are the benefits to your current members?

I doubt a site that seems to be about trading license information will ever make it as BOTM.

There is a different between license information and my site, it is a gaming site, We started out as a keytrading site, only keys for games, my site is legal. We have been fought by big companies such as Valve and we are still up, and always will be, if they dont accept a board for that, ok. I know I BOUGHT my license, and always will. And yes, there are plenty of different customizations with my site. Thanks to princeton, who actually gave me opinions :P. To answer your question, scammers are the scum of the earth for a site like mine, If there in the banned section that means they are scammers, and it means do not trade with them. That is why I have them disaplayed.

Good luck anyway, not sure if Jelsoft will be happy, but if you say it is fully legal (i know you have told me before) you may even get into the vote.

yea, like I said I dont think I will win but it is very nice to be nominated, right now I am actually working on a custom skin..but I am only about 20% done.

I don't think you'll even be nominated by using a pre-made skin, to be perfectly honest.

Yea, I understand that. I will hopefully be done with my skin soon, but I want to make it good, so dont want to rush things. Either way though, its worth a shot.
