does vbulletin save all the messages send through the contact page to the e-mail address provided? because i have to look up an old e-mail send to me, but i don't have that message in my e-mail account anymore.

No, it doesn't store it after it goes out.

Only temporarily, if you enable the mailqueue, and it only lasts till the email is sent.
