i installed the hack.template changes on MEMBERINFO and the php edit on /member.php
but doesnt show up
what shall i do

This hack does not seem to work in 3.5.2, it only says "Referrals: " in the profile but does not add any username. I followed all your steps.

(I just noticed this hack is supposed to be for 3.0 - Sorry!)
