wow, all you are doing is changing the background on all of your styles. The rest is default VB.

Yeah..and my crowd is loving the choices. Liz

Beautifully done. Congratulations. ;)

My only question is what will it look like in a full width forum? Will image tile?

southernlady

It works well with 1024 x 768 from the zip file. I have available 1200 x 900 and 1600 x 1200 available seperately as a download from my forum, upon request. Liz

I run 1280x1024 myself. What would I need for that resolution? And how would it affect those who run smaller resolutions?

southernlady

I have it set on percentage. I know enought HTML to know better :) It's all set in the css part of the "All Style Options" and can be adjusted there to suit your own forum. Liz

So the one in the file is all I need then? ;)

Unless someone on your forum needs a larger resolution, yes. Liz

Love the style. Have it on my test site right now. Did you ever figure out how to make the background static? If so could you share it with us?

Yes, I did and here is the code:

url(images/Mountains/misc/smokymountains.jpg); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed}

You can use that code for any graphic background by just taking the Mountains and the smokymountains.jpg out and plug in whatever you are using instead. Liz

Apparently I was brain dead that day when I typed in the instructions. And you are the first one to catch it. I need to change that on all of them, thank you. Liz

Do I get some kind of gold star, or a coupon good for 50% off my next purchase? http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/Popcorn.gif

...so I take it the coupon's out of the question huh? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

BTW - you know your header is not centered right? :ermm:

southernlady
08-15-2005, 01:14 AM
Yes, I know. if I center it in IE, it's off the the right in FF. If I center it in FF, It's funky in IE. So I just let it alone.

I am HOPING to get transparent headers and that would solve all the problems. Liz

OK I got it working for you but you'll need to add the site name to the center of it because I didn't know what font you were using. Also don't forget to change it from .jpg to .gif in the header template http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/Tip-Hat.gif
