View Full Version : Paypal, then receive hack

Is there a hack or something out there that for instance when you pay, it will redirect you back to your site and you will receive a certain hack that you specify?
For example, I want to create a new usergroup called "allow image in signature" or something. Then I would almost construct some sort of hack store on my forums. A user would click a paypal link to purchase a custom image in their signature. They would pay via paypal, paypal then would redirect them back to my site, and they would be automatically added to that new usergroup that has those permissions.
Then they can set an image in their sig ;)

Ya I knew about those, but those are more geared towards downloading things. This would obviously not be downloadable because it just doesnt fit what I wanna do

Is what you're looking for not doable with the current subscriptions system?

well the current ones are for downloading things. That doesnt apply to my situation...
I want someone for example to purchase an "image in signature" pay via paypal, be redirected back to my site, and once there, they will automatically somehow be added to a usergroup I created called "allowed images in sig" or whatever.
So VB somehow has to verify they paid, and auto put them in that group.

Actually, the current subscription would work for you if you make some mods to the hacks so that they are only useable by certain usergroups.

Hmm you are showing up as licensed again now.
Did you make any changes? (another member also complained that he was showing as licensed/unlicensed all the time).
