Currently, when I use the "Send Email to Users" function in 3.0.7, the "From" field is prepopulated with the admin's email address by default. Say, admin@mydomain.com.
The user's email client will then display the From name as admin@mydomain.com.
What I'd like to do is modify the admincp page and the vbemail stuff so that I can create two fields, one for From Name (e.g., My Domain Admin, or the actual name of the admin) and one for From Email Address (e.g., admin@mydomain.com) so that the user's email client will display a real name.
Anyone done this already, or can anyone help me do this?
Any help is appreciated . . .
