Req: Password protect a non VB Directory

Hi everyone.

I would like to set up a directory where certain members (ie the paid ones) can download files.

I would like it to be password protected (ie via .htaccess) so that it only lets specific usergroups login and access the files in this directory.

Any ideas how I can do this? I have found a few things here but they are all for vb2.

Hey Kirby,

I tried that but I get a server error when I try to use it. And I can't find error.log to figure out whats wrong. :(
