about viewing private forums

Hi Guys!

i dont know if this is a mod request or this has already been done because I can't seem to find an answer..

I have a problem that I have been trying to figure out for some time now. I have set my forum up so that Private forums are NOT hidden from users that dont have access to them. But my thing is that even though the forums are visiable on the forums main page, the threads come up as zero "0" so it looks like no one is posting in those theads (which is not true). How can I get it to stop showing zeros and show the actual number of posts?

With default vB you can not do it, because even if the Forum is visible, normal members don't have access to the posts, so also not to the postcount.

You would need to hack your board to make it show, not sure if there is already a hack around, but i think yes.
