A possible hack...

Ok. I use to use Ikonboard (ducks) and there was one cool feature that I was thinking about and it was the whosonline feature.

When you clicked on this..it would tell what the user was doing at that time. Reading a post...starting a thread..etc.

I thought that would be a verycool hack. Alas, I am not proficient enough at php to make the attempt..anyone else want to give it a shot?

This used to exist with 1.1.X and worked very well.. However with the new session table lacking a location field it is difficult to figure out exactly where the user is now.

Since this would require a schema change and changes to the session handling code it would be best to hold off on such a thing until the finalized version is released.
