How do I get the hacks onto my site?

How do I get the hacks onto my site? I uploaded it but it doesn't show up. Where am I supposed to upload it? Thanks.

I have a new question now. Whenever I go to http://marinersmania.com/forums/install/hack_install.php I get this error:

What is the hack_install.php file? That certainly doesnt come along with every hack. Maybe your using an a single installer for every hack?

hack_install.php is from my Hack Installer System that a lot of my hacks (and of course some other hacks) use.

Those errors above I haven't seen before.

I haven't even been able to get any hacks. Am I supposed to move the hack_install file to the install folder, or just leave it there? I've tried both....

I'm guess IIS (I'm assuming you are running IIS) doesn't like the forward slashes. Why couldn't Windows use forward slashes like the rest of the civilized world?

Did you upload all files and folders in the 'install' directory of the zip-file?
PS It really helps if you post your question in the thread of the hack you are installing.

That thread got some good advises. There is not much to do before downloading a hack. Most hacks will come with instructions on how to install that hack. Just follow instructions and make sure you have made a backup before starting to install.
