Is there a guide on how to create a custom vB skin?

I haven't actually purchased a vB yet, i will be doing soon though, thats why i thought i'd ask at the "pre-sales" forum. I have a custom skin for the homepage and i want a a macthing skin for the planned vB forum - Rez
