Can someone lead me to a way to insert a faded image into the post reply screen and the quick reply screen. I can manage to get an image in but it warps my image to fit both boxes...I need for it to read from two different sized images and display the appropriate one on the posting screens....incase I am not being clear I've attached screenshots of the pages I am talking about..
Where is says "Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply." I want to replace that with a small image and then I also need a bigger image to be displayed in my post reply screen.
Help please :D

I really don't understand what it is you're asking. your screenshots don't seem to fit with your post. I thought you were just wanting button images, but your latest post blows that idea out of the water. Perhaps you should try being a little more clear.

Yes. that helps.
You need to create a CSS style that will apply an image to the background. Then apply that CSS style to the text fields controlling the post windows.

sure thing man...
admin cp > style manager > main css > WYSIWYG Editor
Over in the extra CSS attributes I added this code:
background-position: center;
background-image:
url('http://yourimagehere.gif');
background-repeat: no-repeat;
I had to turn the opacity on my image down to about 30% to make it look good with text being typed over it. I then layed that over a solid color and saved that as the image I wanted to display then I set the background color in the WYSIWYG to the same exact color code as the background on the image so all would blend.
To be able to see this though your users need to have the enhanced editor turned on.
Hope this helps you out man ;)
