Love a review on our latest style brought to vB.

Well i love to see what you all think of the latest style we made for vB. It was the first main stream style we started of with, and its progressed into a very popular style, Based on Mac OSX, its all made from stratch to look as near to Apples os as possible, with full permission i like to say from Apple.

I love to here some feedback into made way to make it better, or improve it. We really like to make it different from the other forum we made this for, so it stands out as vB is the best, so any idea on ways to bring it that much better would be great.

Arent a lot of those images from a WinCustomize theme?

Hmmm as a designer this is agaist every rule in our books, we make every style our self from the very start, we hold all PSD for each section from icons to headers. In our terms and conditions you may also read that we are most probably the own one site around, that stands up for our own members sumittions, to the full extent of the law. And closed many sites down for breech of copyright laws.

We dont believe in ripping, using images, all work is created in house on photoshop.

Our OSX style has been made now for over 2 years, and this is just a port of our original style from IPB to vB, with a few extras.

Sorry if i sound harsh in anyway, but this really is a golden rule, and we been designing style for many years, and i think i can say most site that may do this kind of thing would be shut or no members for ripping.

heh.. well unless you also released the folder icons used for your who's online box to xicons.com you're obviously using some "canned" graphics. And since the Mac OS has already been designed, all you really did was recreate that design. Not make a new design. That being said, it's a very well done recreation of a design that was completed 5 years ago.

Well i guess that the maker who submitted to xicons.com also uses a apple mac like we do, Our style is based on Mac OSX like explained in our original post, we can only say you are correct on the statement of a recreation, but not of xicons but as we have quoted Mac OSX. I thank for the comments saying it done well, we do take much pride in our work, and wanted it to be as close to OSX as possible, but made with our own hands, and not like many others work, copied the images directly, we do like to hold all psd to show our work is 100% hand made, and we say that with great pride.
