I have installed Livewire's New Popup Link (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?p=53624#post53624) on my navbar. It's great!

But ... would it be possible to use only the .gif to pop open the link box rather than the text and the .gif?

I would like to be able to use the text as a link to another page.
And the .gif to expand the popup.

Possible?

That "hack" has nothing to do with .gif images. I'm guessing that you are using a different style then the VB default, and the answer would be no. The .gif would either contain the text, or be a background.

That "hack" has nothing to do with .gif images. I'm guessing that you are using a different style then the VB default, and the answer would be no. The .gif would either contain the text, or be a background. In the default menu there is a .gif (misc/menu_open.gif), which sits beside each menu text. If this forum was not modified it would display beside Search in the navbar, for example.

Right click on the "Quick Links" on this page and you will see it. While I appreciate your response, I feel we did not communicate very well. Perhaps there is a way to achieve my goal of which you are not aware.

Thanks.

EDIT: OK ... here's what I ended up doing, although the gap between the link and the gif is a bit too wide (table defines cellspacing)

<td class="vbmenu_control" align="right"><a href=http://www.your-bananas.com (http://www.your-bananas.com/)>Bananas</a></td>

<td id="newlink" class="vbmenu_control" align="left"><a href="#link"></a> <script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("newlink"); </script></td>

By not inserting text in the second link (<a href=="#link"></a>) the menu_open.gif appears by default and toggles open the popup, independent of the text link I inserted before it.

Cheers.
