Separate Stickies and announcements from other posts

I searched and could not find the modification for vb 2.3.5 (thats what im using anyway) for separate stickies and announcements from other posts... Sorry if I just didnt see it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks so much!

I tried this: http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?t=5442 , but that didn't work. I'm guessing because I have vBulletin 2 installed. Grr. Anyone who can help with this? I've seen vB 2's with this modification. Thanks in advance.
